RESUMEN:
En este artículo se ofrece una aproximación psicosocial a la problemática del consumo de alcohol y otras sustancias psicoactivas en adolescentes, adoptándose a nivel teórico una perspectiva crítica respecto al binomio alcohol-joven y procediendo a evidenciar la raigambre sociocultural del fenómeno. El objetivo de esta investigación es ofrecer un estudio de los hábitos sociales de consumo de los 273 adolescentes encuestados, alumnos de cuatro Centros de Secundaria del Principado de Asturias, así como de otros indicadores tales como el análisis del tiempo libre y las actividades de ocio juvenil asociados a la experimentación con alcohol en escenarios lúdico-sociales. A partir de los resultados se confirman las tendencias halladas en otras investigaciones en cuestiones relativas a la autovaloración del grado de uso/abuso de alcohol, adopción de un patrón de consumo de fin de semana, percepción del grado de problematicidad percibida, tipo de bebidas ingeridas, así como referencias a principales vías de acceso a la información sobre drogas.
ABSTRACT:
In this article we offer a psychosocial approach to the doubtful alcohol and other psychoactive substances by adolescents, approved to theoretical level a critical perspective about the binomial alcohol-young and proceeding to prove the socio cultural intertwined roots of this phenomenon. The obj ective of this investigation is offer a study of the consumption social habits of 273 adolescents, students of four Secondary Schools of Principado de Asturias, as soon as others indicators like the spare time and the youthful leisure analysis associated to the alcohol experimentation in leisure-social settings. Beginning from the results we confirm the found trends in others researches about the assessment of the alcohol use/abuse degree matters, approve of a weekend consumption standard, perception of the problematical perceived level, type of drinks ingested, as soon as references to the main ways of access to drugs information.
