TITLE: Sentimental or emotional dependence

RESUMEN:
Se realiza una descripción clínica y psicométrica de la dependencia sentimental en base a un doble estudio de investigación (cualitativo y cuantitativo) basado en el TDS-100 (test de dependencias sentimentales de Sirvent y Moral, 2006), el Inventario de Interdependencia (IDI) (Hirschfield et alls, 1976), EDE (Caldera y Tascón, 2001). El estudio cualitativo comprendía 5 dobles sesiones de tipo focus-group videorregistradas constituídas por 2 grupos control y 2 grupo dependientes afectivos. A las poblaciones afectas y grupos de comparación no control se les adicionaron los siguientes protocolos: Historia Autobiográfica Integradora. Escala Triangular de Sternberg. Protocolos Abiertos e Historia Clínica ad hoc. RESULTADOS: – Respecto a la descripción sindrómica (macrofactorial) el dependiente sentimental tiene el siguiente perfil psicométrico: elevada puntuación en triada dependiente, sentimientos negativos y autoengaño. Puntuación medio-alta en antecedentes personales y fuerza del ego e identidad. Puntuación medio-baja en acomodación y triada codependiente – Respecto a la descripción sintomática (factorial) el dependiente sentimental tiene el siguiente
perfil psicométrico: elevada puntuación en dependencia pura vs. antidependencia, búsqueda de sensaciones, cráving/ abstinencia. Sentimientos de soledad, vacío emocional, culpabilidad/ autodestrucción, inescapabilidad/ recreación de sentimientos negativos. Autoengaño, manipulación, reiteración, mecanismos de negación y no afrontamiento.. Puntuación medio-alta en antecedentes personales. Identidad/ identificación, fuerza del ego: límites débiles y/o rígidos, egoísmo/egocentrismo, control y dominio/ juegos de poder. Puntuación medio-baja en acomodación. Orientación rescatadora, sobrecontrol y focalización en el otro.
ABSTRACT:
A clinical and psychometric description of emotional dependence is carried out based on a dual study of research (qualitative and quantitative) based on the TDS-100 (sentimental dependency test Sirvent and Moral, 2006), Interdependence Inventory (IDI) (Hirschfield et alls, 1976), EDE (Caldera and Tascon, 2001). The qualitative study included 5 double sessions focus-group type VCR constituted by 2 control group and 2 dependent affective group. Affected populations and non-control comparison groups were added the following protocols: Integrative autobiographical history. Sternberg Triangular Scale. Open Protocols and ad hoc clinical history. RESULTS: – Concerning the syndromic description (macrofactorial) the emotional dependent has the following psychometric profile: high scores in dependent triad, negative feelings and self-deception. Medium-high score in personal background and strength of ego and identity. Medium-low score in accommodation and codependent triad – Concerning the symptomatic description (factorial) the emotional dependent has the following psychometric profile: high score in pure dependence vs antidependence, sensation seeking, craving / withdrawal. Feelings of loneliness, emotional emptiness, guilt / self-destruction, inescapability / recreation of negative feelings. Self-deception, manipulation, repetition, mechanisms of denial and not confrontation. Medium-high score in personal history. Identity / identification, ego strength, weak and / or rigid limits, selfishness / self-centeredness, control and domain / power games. Medium-low score in accommodation. Rescuer guidance, override and focus on the other.
