RESUMEN:
Tras varios años de preparación y ensayo, a mediados de 2009 se puso en marcha el Departamento de Psicometría, diseñada para la evaluación e investigación clínica y dotada con recursos técnicos y humanos cuyos objetivos son la investigación clínica, la evaluación psicológica y psicopatológica, el psicodiagnóstico y el soporte clínico-terapeutico.
El Departamento dispone de 15 ordenadores distribuídos en 3 unidades de psicometría que son centros operativos conectados a un servidor central que a su vez envía automáticamente copias de seguridad a servidores auxiliares. Todos los datos están encriptados y funcionan mediante claves para salvaguardar la identidad de los pacientes. En un servidor central hay una base de tests, protocolos, cuestionarios e inventarios a la que se accede on-line desde las respectivas unidades periféricas. Un psicólogo psicometrista supervisa la realización de pruebas a los pacientes en cada unidad. Inmediatamente aparece el listado de pruebas realizadas, pendientes y listas para su ejecución. Los pacientes se sientan en grupo en los ordenadores ubicados en paralelo salvaguardando la intimidad de realización. Tanto los inputs como las outputs de cada ordenador están codificados y solo el psicometrista puede cerrar o abrir los programas. Los datos quedan inmediatamente registrados en el ordenador central de manera que pueden ser tratados mediante programa SPSS. Cada centro de la Fundación cuenta con un responsable evaluador de psicometría encargado de aplicar, recoger, remitir y en su caso elaborar los datos obtenidos. El coordinador general y el metodólogo-psicometrista organizan los datos e investigaciones. Los psicometristas de los centros pueden disponer de los datos inmediatamente para uso clínico (psicodiagnóstico, orientación, despistaje, para confirmar procesos, etc) Hay un supervisor central ajeno a la institución que cumple funciones de supervisor externo y co-investigador cuando procede. El Departamento de Psicometría realiza 4 niveles de actividad: investigación, evaluación, clínica y terapéutica, a saber: 1º) Investigación Clínica: Experimentos simples y complejos. Estudios cuasi experimentales. Estudios instrumentales. Estudios ex – post facto. Líneas de investigación. 2º) Evaluación: Pruebas de aplicación sistemática. Pruebas de cribado y profundización. Estudios especiales o de investigación clínica. 3º) Clínica: a) Seguimiento del cambio evolutivo: Base ACTIVI. Ciclo objetivo/tarea (cognitivo-conductual). b) Control sintomático: Base REI. Pruebas sistemáticas. 4º) Terapéutica: a) Psiquiátrica: Base REI. B) Psicoterapéutica: Derivados de pruebas sistemáticas. C) Psicoeducativa: Empleo interactivo de las terminales
ABSTRACT:
After several years of preparation and testing, in mid-2009 el so-called Psychometrics Departmente was launched, designed for the evaluation and clinical research and endowed with human and technical resources whose goals are clinical investigation, psychological and psychopathological assessment, psycho diagnosis and clinical therapeutic support. The department has 15 computers distributed in 3 operational centres connected to a central server which in turn automatically sends backups to auxiliary servers. All data is encrypted using keys to preserve the identity of patients. In a central server we find a database of tests, protocols, questionnaires and inventories which is accessed on line from the respective peripheral units. A psychometrician psychologist oversees testing for patients. Both access and exits from each computer are encrypted and only psychometricians can close or open programs.
Through the internet the central server is accessed by key. Immediately the list of tests comes up, those fulfilled, unresolved and ready for execution. Patients sit in groups on computers in parallel location to safeguard the privacy of implementation. The data is immediately recorded in the central computer to be treated using SPSS programme. Each centre of the Foundation has a responsible psychometric evaluator in charge of applying, collecting, transmitting and if necessary developing the appropriate data obtained. There is a central supervisor and a methodologist-psychometrician outside the institution that acts as an external supervisor and co-investigator as appropriate. We distinguish the following levels of assessment according to test batteries: – Systematic application: it applies to all patients without exception following a pre-assigned frequency from the computer system – Screening and / or further information: it is reserved to confirm a doubtful nosology or index more accurately a morbid process – Special studies and / or clinical research: not usual test which are applied uniquely to coincide with an investigation The Department of Psychometry realizes 4 levels of activity: investigation, evaluation, clinical and therapeutic, namely: 1 º) Clinical Investigation: simple and complex experiments. Studies cuasi experimental, instrumental studies, studies ex–post fact, lines of investigation. 2 º) Evaluation: tests of systematic application, tests of screening and deepening, special studies or of clinical research. 3 º) Clinic: a) Follow-up of the evolutionary change: base ACTIVI: objective cycle / action (cognitive – behavioral). B) Symptomatic control: Base REI. Systematic tests 4 º) Therapeutic: a) Psychiatric: Base REI. B) Psychotherapeutic: derivatives of systematic tests. C) Psychoeducational: interactive employment of the terminal.
