ABSTRACT: Treatments are non-linear processes; in its discontinuity can arise crisis and severe decompensation, even claudicatory, that professionals must face. The following study includes not only emergencies, but all that exceptional acute intervention requiring immediate biological treatment, not only by the severity of the condition, but because the situation and the patient’s way of living could be so considered. The sample extends to 198 addicted patients (157 men and 41 women) of which 101 (51%) had intra-treatment emergencies, seen between February 2015 and August 2016. As an assessment tool we use a comprehensive evaluation registration protocol (REI) that collects the most relevant symptoms manifested by the patient and / or observed by the clinician is employed RESULTS: The symptoms that cause more intratherapeutic crisis and required urgent psychiatric treatment acute: depressive symptoms (21.6%), insomnia and other parasomnias (13%), impulsivity (9.7%), anxiety (8.2%), craving and consumer desire (8.2%), negative feelings (6.6%) mania / hypomania (6.6%), claudication / desires to abandon treatment (5.8%), hostility / destructive behavior (4.4%), iatrogenic or medication side effects (4.4% ), withdrawal symptoms (3.6%), psychotic symptoms (3.8%), eating symptoms (1.9% women). CONCLUSIONS AND DISCUSSION: Stresses above all symptoms the depressive exacerbation as proof of immediate intervention. Also it surprises the high incidence of iatrogenic, whose main presentations were the on the one hand impregnation and extrapyramidalism on the other.
