RESUMEN:
Mediante esta aproximación psicosocial al análisis de las actitudes ante el consumo de alcohol y otras sustancias psicoactivas por parte del colectivo juvenil se ofrece una interpretación crítica del llamado problema de la droga y se vincula la revisión actualizada de los motivadores, tendencias y patrones de consumo con la idea relativa a la construcción intersubjetiva de las diferencias inter-género aplicada a tal materia. En esta investigación se le otorga prioridad al objetivo de determinar la existencia de diferencias inter-género en las actitudes juveniles ante el consumo de alcohol en sus tres dimensiones (cognitiva, afectiva y comportamental), así como respecto al nivel de información sobre los riesgos inherentes al consumo abusivo y los procesos de habituación alcohólica. Con tal propósito se ha seleccionado una muestra integrada por 273 adolescentes, estudiantes de cuatro Centros de Secundaria del Principado de Asturias con edades comprendidas entre los 14 y los 18 años. De acuerdo con los resultados hallados, se concluye que en la mayoría de los indicadores se observan patrones actitudinales similares, sin embargo, se confirma que las adolescentes, en comparación con los chicos, manifiestan poseer unas actitudes menos permisivas ante el consumo de alcohol, una mayor sensibilidad y empatía hacia los alcohólicos y una información más fidedigna sobre las consecuencias derivadas de los procesos de habituación con mayor percepción de riesgo inherente al consumo abusivo.
ABSTRACT:
Trough this psychosociological approach to the analysis of the alcohol and other psychoactive substances consumption attitudes by youthful group we offer a critical interpretation of the so-called drug problem and we de the update review of the motivations, trends, and consumption standards with the idea regarding the gender differences inter-subjective analysis applied to this manen 18n this investigation we grant priority to the objective of determine the existente of inter-gender differences in the youthful attitudes toward the alcohol consumption in its three dimensions (cognitive, affective and behavioral), as well as about the information level about the inherent risks to the improper consumption and the alcoholic dependence process. With this purpose we have chosen a sample integrated by 273 adolescents, students of four Secondary Schools of Principado de Asturias between 14 and 18 years old. In agreement with the found out effects, we conclude that in most of the indicators they present similar attitudinal patterns, however, we confirm that girls, by comparison with boys, declare possess a less permissive in the presence of alcohol consumption, more sensitivity and empathy toward alcoholics and more trustworthy information about the derived consequences of the dependence process with more risk perception inherent in misuse consumption.
